50,000 km · two children's charities

Every kilometre I walk gets a family a little closer to home.

I'm Jeremy, and I'm walking 50,000km to raise money for Evelina London Children's Charity and Ronald McDonald House Charities UK — two charities that keep families close to their children when hospital is where they need to be.

Why these two charities

Both charities exist for the same reason: to make hospital a little less frightening for a child, and a little less exhausting for the family staying beside them.

Evelina London Children's Charity supports Evelina London Children's Hospital, which cares for well over 100,000 children and young people every year. Donations fund equipment and research the NHS budget can't stretch to, and help make wards feel less clinical and more like a safe space for a child and their family.
